National Aboriginal and Islander Childrens Day 2016

Happy National Aboriginal and Islanders Children's day 2016!! This year's theme is: My Country, Our Country – We All Belong. This year Children’s Day is all about helping our kids feel connected and proud in culture. Today we visited a local bayside kindy and showed the children the different symbols used in Indigenous Art and their meanings. The children then painted their own symbols on some rocks. Lot's of fun, creative learning about our culture!
